New Year, New Safety

New Year, New Safety

About this event

As we enter into a new term and the next calendar year, there have been many changes within the Educational sector that schools have had to adapt to. As schools reopen for Spring Term, we want to ensure you have the tools to  appropriately manage compliance but to also incorporate the latest Government guidance for the developing national situation.

To prepare for the year ahead, we will be holding a free session to discuss:

  • Reopening your building after Christmas – ensuring that appropriate facilities management plans are in place for proactive maintenance and restarting services
  • Staff wellbeing – Best practice to carry out a review after the unrecognisable year that was 2020 to ensure work related stress and staff wellbeing policies, processes and support resources are available
  • Mass testing and government guidance changes – an overview of key changes and best practice points for onsite arrangements

Let us introduce you to this week's professional speaker

Sarah is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), who joined Judicium in 2017. Sarah’s roles and responsibilities include ensuring the Health, Safety and Fire compliance is implemented and managed by the schools we work with. Additionally, Sarah writes and delivers face to face training courses as well as maintain the Evolve+Educational Visits system for clients.

To relax, Sarah likes to garden and grow her own fruit and veg but once the sun has set, she likes nothing more than to play first person survival video games. Additionally, to let Sarah’s hair down she likes to listen to heavy metal music.
