What this course contains

This course is designed to provide participants with the information needed to understand the requirements and suitable management of COSHH in their school. The course will help attendees understand the requirement for COSHH assessments, allow them to carry out these assessments methodically and in conjunction with current legislation.

Intended outcomes

Course participants will:

  • Know how to make a COSHH assessment
  • Understand hazard identifcation
  • Understand how to implement suitable risk control
  • Recognise the importance of record keeping and understand how to do this sufficiently
  • Understand the principles of COSHH management

Who is this course for

This course is designed for anyone responsible for the management of hazardous substances or for conducting COSHH assessments in their school.

The cost

The course costs £595.00 + VAT and can be delivered on site to up to 15 people.

Assessment

To successfully complete the course, participants will be required to pass a short assessment.

CPD

Upon successful completion of the course participants will be issued a CPD accredited certificate. The course equates to 3 hours of CPD.
