What this course contains

This course is designed to introduce leaders to the principles of the inspection reform, the new Ofsted framework, handbook and ways of working in order to bring about improvement.

Intended outcomes

Participants will:

  • Work with other professionals to share good practice
  • Be taken through each major aspect of the framework considering any new elements and emphasis so that they understand Ofsted's expectations
  • Look closely at the evidence required to make each judgment and the criteria for making the judgments, considering how best to present evidence
  • Consider how to use the framework to bring about school improvement and to ensure that school self-evaluation is accurate
  • Explore strategies to employ to ensure that staff and governors are well prepared and understand what to expect

Designed for all school leaders.

The cost

For schools that subscribe to our annual School Improvement Package the fees are £950 plus VAT (for up to 20 attendees).

For schools that do not subscribe to our annual improvement package, fees are £1525 plus VAT.

Assessment

To successfully complete the course, attendees will be required to pass a short assessment.

CPD

Upon successful completion of the course attendees will be issued a CPD accredited certificate. The course equates to 7 hours of CPD.
