Asbestos Awareness in Schools
Designed for SBM or Premises Managers, this course will provide a thorough understanding of the key requirements of The Control of Asbestos Regulations.
COSHH in Schools
This course is designed to provide participants with the information needed to understand the requirements and suitable management of COSHH in their school.
Electrical Safety in Schools
Designed for Premises Managers, Premises Officers and I.T Technicians, this course will provide the attendee with a basic knowledge of electrical safety.
Fire Safety in Schools

Designed for Business Managers, Resource Directors, senior level manager or any person responsible for managing Health and Safety in schools, this course is designed to provide attendees with the information needed to effectively manage Health and Safety in their educational environment.
Manual Handling in Schools
This course is designed for people that carry out or manage manual handling activities and need to understand key aspects of good manual handling techniques to prevent accidents or musculoskeletal injuries.
Risk Assessment in Schools
Designed for Premises Managers / Premises Officers, this course will train the attendees in the process of completing a risk assessment. It will cover the HSE ‘5 steps’ to risk assessment.
School Educational Visits Coordinator Training
This course is designed to provide the required training for a member of school staff to be an Educational Visits Coordinator (EVC). The course covers all key areas required to enable the attendee to carry out the EVC role within a school.
Water Systems Management in Schools
Designed for Premises Officers, this course provides a guidance on what legionella is and what the legal and best practice requirements for managing Legionella are.
Work Equipment / Machinery in Schools
This course is designed to provide attendees with the information needed to be able to carry out user equipment checks, plan inspections, monitor, keep records and also have some knowledge of the danger from work equipment.

Human Resources Courses

Compliance with Data Protection in the Workplace and Subject Access Requests: A Consideration for Schools
This session will enable delegates to tackle data protection issues that regularly occur day to day in School. We will also place particular focus on subject access requests and how to deal with such requests.
Conducting a Data Protection Audit in Schools
This session will enable delegates to conduct a review of their data protection practices to ensure compliance with the law. We will also cover the legal position on conducting an audit and the proposed reform in the law in this area.
Data Protection and Freedom of Information – An Introduction for Schools
This course will enable delegates to become familiar with the basic principles and legal considerations involved in handling data and complying with both the Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act.
