Who is it for?
This course is aimed at members of SLT, SBMs, HR team members, and line managers that may be involved in the running or oversight of day-to-day HR issues.
Intended Outcomes
This course will highlight ten of the most common HR Errors and how to avoid these pitfalls, including:
- How to defend against office banter;
- What rights pregnant employees have;
- Eight key HR policies;
- Dealing with performance concerns;
- How to manage a stressed employee during disciplinary processes;
- What to do is a grievance is issued during a disciplinary process;
- How quickly to address a grievance;
- Should meetings be recorded?
- Who can accompany an employee to a meeting; and
- Appeal cultures.
Cost

The cost of this session starts at £995 plus VAT for up to 20 participants for clients of the Employment Law & HR Service. Each additional participant will be charged at £55 plus VAT per head. Where the session is to be delivered on site, in person, reasonable travel expenses will be charged in addition to the session cost.
