Asbestos Awareness Training – (Refresher Course)
Course Overview:
This course is a refresher for an employee who has completed an instructor led Asbestos Awareness course in the past. It is a requirement of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and associated Approved Code of Practice that Asbestos Awareness training is refreshed annually.
Intended Outcomes:
This course will refresh your knowledge as required under the Aproved Code of Practice. Once you have completed the course you will have been reminded of the following:
- Relevant legislation
- What Asbestos is
- Where it could be located
- Your duty to manage
- Asbestos related disease
- Asbestos removal requirements
Who is it for:
Premises officers or SLT who have completed instructor led Asbestos Awareness training in the past.
Duration:
45 minutes - 1 hour
The Cost:
This course is available as part of our eLearning annual licence which includes unlimited access to the full Health and Safety eLearning Library for £1,385 plus VAT per annum.
Alternatively, if your school subscribes to our annual Health and Safety Support Service, you will receive access to our entire health and safety eLearning library at no extra cost.
Assessment:
To successfully complete the course, learners will be required to pass a short assessment.
CPD:
Upon successful completion of the course learners will be issued a CPD accredited certificate to download. The course equates to 1 hour of CPD.
