What this course contains:

This course summarises the basic steps, procedures and legal considerations involved in dealing with both short-term and long-term absence. Delegates will be given an opportunity to reflect on examples of sickness absence and evaluate their understanding of the procedures involved and legal considerations to be aware of.

This course is an Introduction to Managing Sickness Absence and is aimed at aspiring members of the Senior Leadership Team, newly appointed Line Managers, members of the Governing Body and School Business Managers new to the role.
