The aim of the course is to provide you with the knowledge to understand the contents of Part 3 of Keeping Children Safe in Education, in line with the expectation that “at least one of the persons who conducts an interview has completed safer recruitment training.”
This course will provide you with the knowledge to understand the following:
- Purpose of safer recruitment
- Application process
- Shortlisting process
- Requesting and reviewing references
- Interview process
- Pre-appointment checks
- Creating a culture of ongoing vigilance

All Staff who may be involved in recruitment.
This course is available as part of our eLearning annual licence which includes unlimited access to the full Safeguarding eLearning Library for £985 plus VAT per annum.

To successfully complete the course, learners will be required to pass a short assessment.
Upon successful completion of the course learners will be issued a CPD accredited certificate to download. The course equates to 120 minutes of CPD.
