This course will provide you with an overview of the law regarding Social Media.
By working through the training pages, you will get an overview of the potential implications of staff using social media, the affect this may have on the School and what you can do to address/prevent this. You will run through the following steps:
- Social Media Policy;
- Why is it important to have a Social Media Policy;
- Staff use of Personal Social Media; and
- Staff use of School Social Media.
Who is it for
This course is an introduction into Social Media and is aimed at aspiring members of the Senior Leadership Team, Line Managers, members of the Governing Body and School Business Managers.

To successfully complete the course, learners will be required to pass a short assessment.
