Managing Holiday Periods - How does Safety Management Look when Schools are on Holiday?

About this event

The countdown to summer holidays is on, which may mean your school or Trust is preparing for a closed site or skeleton staff during the break.

Despite this change, you are still required to meet your legal requirements on site and remain compliant. But how do you do this when your responsible staff are away?

We’ll provide some top tips on what your safety management should look like during the holidays.

During the session we will be looking at:

  • Clarification on what core compliance management must continue in the holidays

    • Reviewing your lone working provisions to support and protect your staff
    • A managing contractor's overview for the holiday work period

Let us introduce you to this week's professional speaker

Sarah is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), who joined Judicium in 2017. Sarah’s roles and responsibilities include ensuring the Health, Safety and Fire compliance is implemented and managed by the schools we work with. Additionally, Sarah writes and delivers face-to-face training courses, as well as maintain the Evolve+ Educational Visits system for clients. To relax, Sarah likes to garden and grow her own fruit and veg but once the sun has set, she likes nothing more than to play first-person survival video games. Additionally, to let Sarah’s hair down she likes to listen to heavy metal music.
