The Teachers' Pension Scheme is changing administrator, with the transition to TCS bringing a new Employer Portal and new ways of working. The 2024 valuation has confirmed a substantial change to the employer contribution rate from April 2027. LGPS employers are still expected to publish and review their discretions policies - something that's easy to defer and awkward to explain when it's missed. And underneath all of it sit the payroll errors that impact and distort pension records for years before anyone notices.
