Advanced Safeguarding Training (for DSLs and Deputies)

If you currently subscribe to Judicium's Safeguarding Service the cost of the course is £130 + VAT. If you are not current subscribers to the safeguarding service the cost of the course is £210 + VAT.

This CPD accredited 4.5-hour course equips DSLs and their deputies to fulfil their role in line with statutory guidance and gives practical tips to Safeguarding Leads for their settings.

This course provides Designated Safeguarding Leads and Deputies with the knowledge to understand the following: - Key safeguarding definitions, legislation, roles and responsibilities - Indicators of and responding to safeguarding concerns, including harmful sexual behaviours - Updates within KCSIE - Responding to disclosures and working with other agencies - Creating a culture of vigilance - Safeguarding Practice Reviews (previously known as Serious Case Reviews).

Assessment: Attendees will be required to pass a short multiple-choice test.

By registering for Advanced Safeguarding Training for DSLs, you understand that this amount is payable to Judicium Education.
