What You'll Learn

This 3 hour course is designed to provide attendees with the information needed to effectively manage fire safety in their educational environment. Attendees will be able to understand key legal requirements and their role and responsibility in assisting the school to meet fire safety requirements.

Intended Outcomes

• Understand why fire safety is important in schools
• Know the basic principles of fire, how it starts and how to prevent it
• Recognise the different types of fire and understand the importance of this
• Be advised about basic firefighting skills
• Know what to do in the event of a fire

Who It's For

This course is suitable for all school staff and designed to provide the basic information all staff should know with regards to fire safety.

Additional Information

The course costs £793 + VAT and can be delivered on site for up to 16 delegates.

For schools that do not subscribe to our Health & Safety Support Service, fees are £1,192 + VAT.

Assessment

To successfully complete the course, attendees will be required to pass a short assessment.

Cancellation Instructions

The client's responsibility is to inform Judicium at least two weeks before the agreed course date if the training session is no longer required.  

If courses are cancelled with more than seven calendar days but fewer than 14 calendar days from the agreed training date, the client is liable for 50% of the course fees. 

If courses are cancelled seven or fewer calendar days from the agreed training date, the client is liable for 100% of the course fees
