Fire Safety Management in schools

What this course contains

This 3 hour course is designed enable participants to recognise fire safety requirements to ensure their school meets key legal requirements

Intended outcomes

Course participants will be able to:

• Know what happens when the Fire and Rescue Service calls
• Understand compartmentation
• Gain a good understanding about the key elements of a fire risk assessment
• Understand their roles and responsibilities
• Know how to select the correct extinguisher
• Know the importance of clear evacuation strategies

Who is this course for

This course is designed for persons responsible for fire safety and / or persons who are responsible to implement or carry out fire safety functions.

The cost

The course costs £793 + VAT and can be delivered on site for up to 16 delegates.

For schools that do not subscribe to our Health & Safety Support Service, fees are £1,192 + VAT.

Assessment

To successfully complete the course, participants will be required to pass a short assessment.

CPD

Upon successful completion of the course participants will be issued a CPD accredited certificate. The course equates to 3 hours of CPD.
