Headteacher Appraisal – what governors need to know
This session will explore the governance role relating to Headteacher Appraisal. We will focus on both statutory aspects of the process and provide practical guidance on how best to ensure that objectives are both fair and rigorous. We will explore planning and preparation for the annual appraisal meeting, which must be completed by the end of this autumn term. We will also focus on how monitoring and communication, throughout the year, contribute to the effectiveness of the process.
