Intended Outcomes
Course participants will be able to:
- Review the health and safety management system in their place of work and align it to HSE guidance.
- Apply basic management principles and practices to safety and health issues as part of a total management strategy.
- Recognise safety and health hazards and implement control measures.
- Carry out and record risk assessment and recommend suitable control measures.
- Ensure adequate information, training and supervision are provided for employees.
- Investigate an accident or incident involving injury or damage to determine the causes and take appropriate actions.

The course costs £509 + VAT per delegate for schools that subscribe to our Health and Safety Service
For schools that do not subscribe to our Health & Safety Support Service, fees are £635 + VAT per delegate.
Assessment
To successfully complete the course, attendees will be required to pass a short assessment.
