Safeguarding INSET Day Resources Pack

The INSET pack includes a comprehensive 2-hour PowerPoint presentation covering all the key information outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) that staff are required to know, along with updates from KCSIE and other relevant safeguarding guidance.

Detailed trainer notes are provided to support DSLs and leaders in confidently delivering each slide. The pack also includes staff handouts featuring a range of engaging and interactive activities designed to support understanding and participation throughout the session.

Elements of the session are clearly identified for customisation, allowing you to tailor content to reflect your specific setting and context.  In addition, the materials are adapted for Primary, Secondary, and SEND provisions, with relevant scenarios and examples that are appropriate and meaningful for each type of school.
