The Role of Members in an Academy Trust
Members play a vital role in the governance of Academy Trusts. This session will explore their role, responsibilities and powers, including when these should be exercised. The session is an ideal introduction to the role for new Members but also an opportunity for Trustees to enhance their understanding of the Member role in both stand-alone (single) academy trusts as well as multi-academy trusts.
