What this course contains
This course is designed to provide attendees with the information needed to effectively manage water systems in their school. Providing a guidance on what legionella is and what the legal and best practice requirements for managing Legionella are.
Intended outcomes
Course participants will be able to:
- Understand the importance of water systems management
- Know what legionella is and it's dangers
- Gain a good understanding of the relevant legislation
- Understand their school's responsibilities regarding water systems management
Who is this course for
Designed for Premises Officers who may be responsible or involved in the management and/or carry out the control measures and strategies for water systems.
The cost
The course costs £719.25 + VAT and can be delivered on site for up to 16 delegates.
For schools that do not subscribe to our Health & Safety Support Service, fees are £1,080.71 plus VAT.
Assessment
To successfully complete the course, attendees will be required to pass a short assessment.
CPD
Upon successful completion of the course attendees will be issued a CPD accredited certificate. The course equates to 3 hours of CPD.
