Health & Safety
What is a Governor’s Role in Health and Safety?
Governors and Trustees have strategic oversight to ensure your school or Trust is as safe as it should be for your staff and learners.
Utilising them effectively can be an excellent asset for your SLT, but in order to do that your governors must know their responsibilities and have adequate training to fulfil their role. How can you ensure this is done through a strategic and not operational perspective?
We’ll talk you through our tips for engaging your governors efficiently and providing the right tools for success.
During the session we will be looking at:
- Legal Framework and Responsibilities
What to look for in risk assessments- Emergency Procedures
- Health and Wellbeing
Let us introduce you to this week's professional speakers
