As you will no doubt be aware, the current NQT programme will be replaced from September 2021 with the new two-year Early Career Framework (ECF). NQTs will be referred to as “Early Career Teachers” (ECTs).

We hope you have all settled into having all your pupils back in school and are largely enjoying the buzz of a full school. When we look back over the last year, its hard to believe what we have all been through and how we have all had to adjust. However, adjust you have and you have all done it amazingly. With Storm Darcy bringing freezing temperatures and heavy snowfalls, most of the country has experienced some level of snow and ice over the last few days (we even had a light dusting here on the South Coast!). We had intended to send this Newsflash to you at the very beginning of the New Year but have held off to give schools a chance to adjust to the latest lockdown.
