Safeguarding at Scale: Strengthening Assurance, Visibility and Response Across Your MAT
Safeguarding in a Multi-Academy Trust is more than a statutory requirement—it’s a trust-wide responsibility that underpins culture, governance, and risk management. Ensuring every academy is safe, supported, and compliant is complex, especially when safeguarding needs vary across communities and incidents can arise unexpectedly.
This session explores how to strengthen trust-level oversight, turn operational safeguarding into strategic insight, and spot risks early before they escalate. Join our safeguarding experts along with a trust leader as they share practical approaches, learn from real-world experience, and help you ensure safeguarding is robust, visible, and actively managed at trust level—not just on paper.
During the session we will be discussing the following:
- Strengthening trust-level safeguarding oversight
- Shifting from operational delivery to strategic leadership
- Driving consistency and improving visibility of safeguarding risk
