Work Permits

Recruiting Teachers and Staff from Abroad

About this event

Staff shortage is a serious problem schools and Trusts are  facing today.

With staff retention rates falling, recruiting and sourcing new staff is a hurdle many school leaders are struggling to tackle.

One way to combat any shortages is to employ EU and non-EEA nationals.

Following Brexit, schools must be granted a sponsorship licence by the Home Office before they can employ non-UK resident workers under the points-based visa system and routes such as the Skilled Worker visa.

Although the process may seem daunting, we're here to talk you through your options and the best practice guidance so you can open more doors for your school or Trust.

During the session we will be covering the following:

  • The process to become a licensed sponsor
  • The visa application process for the candidate
  • How you can remain a compliant sponsor
  • How Judicium UK Work Permits can assist you

Let us introduce you to this week's professional speakers
