Refresher Training: UK GDPR and Data Protection
The training course gives schools and MATs a clear refresher of the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, including the key principles, individual rights, and organisational responsibilities.
It explains topics such as the principles of UK GDPR, definitions, why comply, overview of DUAA, your data protection responsibilities such as DPIAs, privacy notices, SARs and FOIs and more!
Intended outcomes:
By the end of the course, participants should:
- Understand the legal framework and obligations under UK GDPR.
- Be able to recognise and handle personal data appropriately within their school setting, and
- Know how to respond to data protection incidents, requests, and compliance requirements with confidence.
