Introduction to Safeguarding for Governors and Trustees

This session is designed to meet the expectation that those new to governance, as part of their induction to the role, undertake safeguarding training. This session will include an overview of the main safeguarding risks that children and young people in our schools and trusts may be presented with. We will also explore the expectations on schools in general and on governance in terms of our compliance role.
