New to the Role of Chair

This session has been designed specifically with new and aspiring chairs of governing boards or committees in mind as the key audience. Chairing a board or committee is a position of leadership and we will focus on both the expectations of the role, including those reflected in Department for Education guidance, and practical examples of what effective leadership of governance looks like. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and share ideas and good practice.
