KCSIE Part 4: Allegations of Abuse Training

This two-hour session covers all there is to know about allegations of abuse made against staff from low-level concerns to LADO investigations. When we conduct work with schools, these are often areas leaders are less confident in, particularly if they have not had first-hand experience of dealing with it. This course dives into the guidance, considers scenarios, and gives time to determine how to build a culture of 'it could happen here'. Put yourself in a position of confidence by completing this CPD-accredited course.

This CPD accredited course provides attendees with the knowledge to understand the following:

  •  A thorough deep-dive into part four of the statutory guidance, Keeping Children Safe in Education.
  • Understand how to manage allegations of abuse that do meet the harm threshold step by step.
  • Consider how to create a culture to support vigilance around low-level concerns.
  • Understand how whistleblowing interacts with concerns about adults in schools.

Assessment

  • Review scenarios and complete a short summary quiz
