The aim of the course is to provide you with the knowledge to understand the following: What the GDPR is and how this has affected our data protection laws - To look at the changes brought about by the GDPR and how this affects schools in practice - The role of the school in complying with GDPR - To understand some of the key rights brought about by data protection legislation (including the role of the Data Protection Officer).

To successfully complete the course, learners will be required to pass a short assessment.
