Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) - Putting Procedures in Place and Making Sense of the Process
Often the new latest and greatest app or teaching tool becomes the talk of the staff room, with many working on how they can incorporate it into their lessons or daily tasks. But how many teachers or support staff realise they should have completed a DPIA before incorporating it’s use into their daily school life?
To meet legal requirements, DPIAs must be completed and all staff in school should understand their purpose.
During the session we will be looking at:
- What are DPIAs and when do we need one?
- Key points all staff should know about DPIAs
- Top tips for managing the DPIA process
Let us introduce you to this week's professional speaker
