About this scheduled HR Advisory course

Who is it for?

This briefing is aimed at those who are likely to be involved in managing and supporting staff attendance, as well as leaders that need to make the operational decision in relation to any adjustments requested or recommended. This is likely to include members of SLT, SBMs, HR team members or line managers. However, this session could also be of interest to Trustees and Governors, who may also be involved in supporting staff attendance and considering adjustments as part of that process.

Briefing Overview

This briefing will revisit the legal requirement to make reasonable adjustments and what this means for employers. The session will then focus on the difficult balance employers have to juggle in order to meet the needs of both staff and pupils, which is more difficult in settings where pupils also have additional needs.
