What this course contains

This course is designed to provide participants with the information needed to understand the requirements and suitable management of COSHH in their school. The course will help attendees understand the requirement for COSHH assessments, allow them to carry out these assessments methodically and in conjunction with current legislation.

Intended outcomes

Course participants will:

Know how to make a COSHH assessment
Understand hazard identifcation
Understand how to implement suitable risk control
Recognise the importance of record keeping and understand how to do this sufficiently
Understand the principles of COSHH management

Assessment

Attendees will be required to pass a short multiple-choice test
