Craig Stilwell

Head of Data Services

Craig is a qualified solicitor and an experienced data protection practitioner who has been with Judicium since 2012. As Head of Data Services, he leads the largest education-focused data protection team in the UK, setting the standard for excellence in compliance practices across schools and Trusts. 

Craig is widely recognised for his meticulous attention to detail and ability to navigate complex regulatory requirements with precision. His expertise ensures that advice delivered by the team is accurate, practical and tailored to the needs of the education sector. 

Under his leadership, the team has developed innovative compliance tools, including their in-house dashboard as well as AI and redaction services, all of which are designed to improve accountability and reduce risk for clients. His deep knowledge and insight has made him a sought-after speaker at events for leading organisations such as Lloyds Bank, ISBA, ISBL and the NAHT as well as a regular contributor to data protection articles in teaching and education resources.

In Craig’s spare time, he is an avid music fan and likes going to gigs. He also enjoys running and supports Swansea City.
