About this Health & Safety course

Course Overview

The aim of the course is to provide you with the knowledge to understand the following: To understand what lone working involves and who can be affected in what circumstances - To look at the key areas of responsibility for the Headteacher, Heads of Department and employees and more.

Intended Outcomes:

We will also look at the following topics to ensure you understand how to identify the hazards lone working can pose and what actions can be taken to reduce the risks:

  • Identifying hazards.
  • Risk Assessments and Controls.
  • Dynamic Risk Assessments.
  • Dealing with Aggression at Work

All school staff.

Duration:

45 – 60 Minutes

The cost

This course is available as part of our eLearning annual licence which includes unlimited access to the full Health and Safety eLearning Library for £1,385 plus VAT per annum.

Alternatively, if your school subscribes to our annual Health and Safety Support Service, you will receive access to our entire health and safety eLearning library at no extra cost.

Assessment

To successfully complete the course, learners will be required to pass a short assessment.

CPD

Upon successful completion of the course learners will be issued a CPD accredited certificate to download. The course equates to 1 hour of CPD.
