This 2-day course has been designed to inform delegates of all they need to know about Health and Safety to enable them to effectively manage health and safety educational settings. The course has been accredited by The CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Certification Service. Delegates will receive a certificate after successful completion of the course.

Intended Outcomes

Course participants will be able to:

  • Review the health and safety management system in their place of work and align it to HSE guidance.
  • Apply basic management principles and practices to safety and health issues as part of a total management strategy.
  • Recognise safety and health hazards and implement control measures.
  • Carry out and record risk assessment and recommend suitable control measures.
  • Ensure adequate information, training and supervision are provided for employees.
  • Investigate an accident or incident involving injury or damage to determine the causes and take appropriate actions.

Additional Information

The course costs £509 + VAT per delegate and can be delivered on site to small or larger groups of minimum 8 delegates and maximum 16 delegates.

For schools that do not subscribe to our Health & Safety Support Service, fees are £635 + VAT per delegate.

Assessment

To successfully complete the course, attendees will be required to pass a short assessment.

Cancellation Instructions

The client's responsibility is to inform Judicium at least two weeks before the agreed course date if the training session is no longer required.  

If courses are cancelled with more than seven calendar days but fewer than 14 calendar days from the agreed training date, the client is liable for 50% of the course fees. 

If courses are cancelled seven or fewer calendar days from the agreed training date, the client is liable for 100% of the course fees.
