What this course contains

This course is designed to provide delegates with the information needed to understand: -

1. Legislation applicable to the use of display screen equipment in the workplace;
2. Hazards related to the use of display screen equipment;
3. How to complete a suitable and sufficient display screen equipment risk assessment.

Intended Outcomes

On completion of the course delegates will be able to: -

• Identify hazards related to the use of display screen equipment and to recommend controls to reduce the risk of ill health;
• Be able to correctly identify what constitutes display screen equipment use at work;
• Complete a suitable and sufficient display screen equipment risk assessment;
• Have an understanding of the key legislation surrounding the use of display screen equipment within the workplace.

Who is this course for?

This half-day course (3 hours) is suitable for any staff who want to carry out display screen equipment risk assessments within the workplace. The course has been accredited by The CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Certification Service. Delegates will receive a certificate after the successful completion of the course.

The cost

The course costs £719.25 + VAT for Judicium Health & Safety clients and can be delivered on site or online via Microsoft Teams for up to 16 delegates.

For organizations that do not subscribe to our Health & Safety Support Service, the fees are £1,080.71 + VAT.

Assessment

To successfully complete the course, participants will be required to pass a short assessment.

CPD

Upon successful completion of the course participants will be issued a CPD accredited certificate. The course equates to 3 hours of CPD.
