Intended Outcomes

This course provides refresher training on key health & safety legislation, best practice, and safe working procedures for premises activities in schools, including:

  • Managing contractors, including competency checks, supervision and monitoring of works.
  • Awareness of asbestos hazards and safe working procedures.
  • Identify substances hazardous to health and their associated hazards.
  • Understand the principles of legionella management in hot and cold water systems.
  •  Safe use of work equipment, including inspection, training and maintenance.
  • Recognise electrical hazards and apply appropriate control measures to protect staff and pupils.

Who is this course for

This one day course has been designed for premises team staff who need to refresh and maintain their existing knowledge in health & safety.

The cost

The course costs £248 + VAT per delegate for existing Judicium Health and Safety compliance clients.

For non-Judicium Health and Safety clients, the course costs £317 + VAT per delegate.

This course can be delivered onsite or online and can be delivered to groups of minimum 8 delegates, up to 16 delegates.

Group discounts may be agreed for a groups with a minimum of 12 people.

Assessment

To successfully complete the course, delegates will be required to pass a short assessment.

CPD

Upon successful completion of the course delegates will be issued a CPD accredited certificate. The course equates to 6 hours of CPD.
