Control of Infection Policy Template Update
As part of the ongoing review process, Judicium continue to update the policy template documents we provide to ensure they incorporate legislative and guidance updates and remain relevant.
The ‘Control of Infections Policy’ has been reviewed to apply recent guidance updates to ensure schools have a clear framework for the prevention and control of infections in the school. Communicable diseases can constitute a health and safety hazard to anyone entering the school and this policy aims to ensure such risks are reduced wherever possible. If you are a standalone school and would like a copy of the template, please contact your Judicium Education Health and Safety Consultant. If you are part of a Trust, please contact your trust management team for further information.
In addition to the policy, a Control of Infection e-learning course has been developed, with the aim to provide staff with the knowledge to understand how infections are spread, infection control and reducing COVID-19 risks. The course is aimed at staff who may be exposed to infectious diseases in educational settings. Upon successful completion of the course, learners will be issued with a CPD accredited certificate and the course equates to 80 minutes of CPD.
