Who is it for?

The course is aimed at members of SLT, SBMs, HR team members, and line managers that may be involved in managing and supporting staff with their mental health. 

Intended Outcomes

The course is intended to provide an overview of mental health within the workplace and how this has impacted on the profession. The course will also provide guidance on:  

  •  Your legal responsibilities as an employer;  
  • How to support employee’s mental health at work; 
  • How to spot early signs of mental ill health;  
  • The importance and benefits of being aware of mental health within the workplace; 
  • Reasonable adjustments that can be made to support employee mental health; and 
  • Practical steps to be taken to when absences cannot be prevented. 

        Cost

        • The cost of this session starts at £995 plus VAT for up to 20 participants for clients of the Employment Law & HR Service. Each additional participant will be charged at £55 plus VAT per head. Where the session is to be delivered on site, in person, reasonable travel expenses will be charged in addition to the session cost.

        CPD 

        • This course equates to 2.5 hours of CPD and following attendance on the course, participants will be sent electronic copies of their CPD certificate, copies of the slides and activities discussed during the session.
