Who is it for?

This briefing is aimed at Governors/Trustees, members of SLT, SBMs and HR Team members that require an understanding on the position of holiday pay for staff.

Briefing Overview

In last couple of years there has been lost of discussion around holiday pay for part year (TTO) and casual members of staff.

In this session we will review the position on holiday pay following the case of Harpur v Brazel, the Government’s consultation and the recent decision to reverse the position outlined in this case, which will be applicable in 2024.

We will also explore the practical steps you can take in relation to existing staff if you have made changes to staff contracts and holiday pay in light of the case of Harpur v Brazel and how holiday pay should be treated for new starters moving forward.
